Production Supervisor is the principal assistant to the Project Manager on all matters pertaining to the maintenance production mission. Production Supervisor will be responsible for the management of all production processes and organization of the facilities. In addition, directs the production staff and leadership to achieve a satisfactory workflow. Identifies areas for improvement and organize training opportunities for their team. Ensures the maintenance and maintenance support processes remain smooth and efficient by organizing workflows and monitoring staff. They direct, train, and assist lower-level production workers.
Responsibilities- Supervises operations within a facility to achieve higher output.
- Organizes and trains educational manuals for the production team.
- Assists in the recruitment and onboarding of new hires.
- Ensures compliance with safety and professional standards within a facility.
- Organizes, monitors, and prioritizes tasks to meet production goals.
- Evaluates various stations of the production operation to ensure optimum efficiency.
- Recommends process, resource, and facility improvements to management.
- Develops and implements maintenance procedures and maintaining personnel skills records.
- Maintains communication between employees and management to ensure procedures and policies are well-understood.
- Ensures the flow of materials and other resources.
Qualifications
Must have a minimum of 5+ years of documented supervisory experience and a comprehensive knowledge of governing regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions in U.S. Army material maintenance and production.
Must have verbal skills and written communications to conduct meetings, execute plans, and prepare reports, plans, and working instructions.
Must be able to provide information and reports, resolve issues and recommend actions to improve delivery of services to the customers.
Must be proficient in standard business office software.
Must be able to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening.
Must be able to receive a favorable TIER 1 investigation result and obtain/maintain a CAC.
Desired Qualifications:
12+ years of shop level experience as a technician and understanding of quality systems.
10+ years of Army maintenance and production experience.
91 series U.S. Army Military Occupational Specialty Maintenance Experience.
Valid Driver License.
High School Diploma / GED.
Pay Range: ($55K - $65K).
