What You'll Be Doing
Troubleshoot, repair, clean, polish, grind, and hand-finish stamping die tooling
Disassemble and assemble dies according to design specifications
Operate welding equipment, milling machines, lathes, surface grinders, and other die manufacturing equipment
Interpret customer prints, engineering specifications, layout results, and functional requirements
Use hoists or cranes to safely lift and move dies
Measure die parts, wire limit switches, fabricate items, and document work activities
Maintain a clean, safe work area while following safety policies and wearing required PPE
What You'll Need to be Considered
Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools, machinery, and equipment
Experience with welding, grinding, polishing, machining, or die/tooling repair
Ability to read measurements, prints, specifications, or technical instructions
Comfort working in a manufacturing or industrial production environment
Ability to safely lift up to 33 lbs. and work around large equipment
Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime as needed
