Your Job

Phillips Medisize Caldwell, Idaho facility is recruiting a Process Technician to support reliable manufacturing and testing operations. This hands-on role focuses on equipment calibration, monitoring, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and creating/updating work instructions. You will work closely with Process Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Production to keep tools and processes within specification and to support continuous improvement initiatives.

What You Will Do

  • Perform equipment calibration, preventive maintenance, and basic repairs while monitoring performance and ensuring compliance with standards
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate corrective actions with engineering and external vendors
  • Maintain accurate calibration, maintenance, and performance documentation; support tool qualification and control plans
  • Conduct in-process inspections and functional testing; support incoming inspection and disposition of nonconforming materials
  • Partner with production teams to support daily output, assembly, rework, and troubleshooting across product lines
  • Ensure adherence to documented procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements
  • Support root cause investigations and identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and continuous improvement
  • Create and update work instructions and SOPs; train team members on equipment use and assembly processes

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.
  • One (1) year or more of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment involving precision equipment or tools.
  • Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, calibration records, and SOPs.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Associate's degree in Electronics, Photonics, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001, NIST traceability, or other calibration standards.
  • Experience with fiber optic testing and assembly.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP).
  • Experience with data analysis tools.
  • Experience writing scripts with Python.
