Compensation for the Production Technician
$18 Per Hour
Day Shift: Monday - Friday, 6 am - 2:30 pm
Direct hire position
Responsibilities for the Production Technician
Work inside a controlled environment that is sometimes humid
Ensure all necessary parts are properly assembled (which often requires wrapping in a special material that is time consuming, requires attention to detail and fine finger manipulation, like wrapping a part in tape for painting, or applying decoupage/plaster to an item)
Watch continuously for FOD (Foreign Object Debris) and ensure that it has not compromised materials or parts
Inspect each part for quality, clean the part per specifications, bag the part for the next process, and move to the next part
Other duties as assigned
Requirements for the Production Technician
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Minimum of 6 months of work experience
Must be results-oriented and demonstrate analytical thinking, innovation, flexibility in dealing with changing and ambiguous situations
High attention to detail
Competencies: initiative / problem solving, teamwork / relationship building, safety, job knowledge, delivering results, continuous improvement
Physical requirements: ability to lift of to 50 lbs., wear protective gear and follow proper safety precautions (lab coat, gloves, eye protection all provided)
