A Production Planner in the manufacturing industry is responsible for planning and organizing production schedules, assessing project and resource requirements, and estimating, negotiating, and agreeing on budgets and timelines with clients and managers. They also ensure that the manufacturing process meets health and safety regulations, and they oversee product standards and implement quality control programs. Their role is pivotal in coordinating and expediting the flow of work and materials within or among departments according to production schedules.
