Our client is looking for an entry-level SMT Operator. Join an innovative electronics manufacturing services provider that delivers high-reliability electronic assemblies across diverse industries. In this role, you will be essential in supporting the production of printed circuit board assemblies by setting up, operating, and maintaining surface-mount technology (SMT) equipment such as pick-and-place machines, screen printers, and reflow ovens. Youll play a vital part in ensuring quality standards are met, troubleshooting minor equipment issues, and maintaining a safe and organized workspace. In this role, you will be responsible for loading and verifying machine programs and components, monitoring equipment operation, performing routine maintenance, and conducting quality inspections of finished PCBAs. You will record production data, troubleshoot minor machine malfunctions, and follow all safety and quality procedures to ensure efficient and safe manufacturing processes.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Required Skills, Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 0-1 years of SMT operator experience
- Ability to understand SMT equipment operation and basic electronic components
- Knowledge of printing and soldering processes
- Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and work instructions in English
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn
- Adherence to safety protocols and procedures
