Maintenance Mechanic Responsibilities:
Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment, following technical manuals and schematics
Diagnose issues by observing machine operation, listening for abnormal sounds, and using testing tools to identify root causes
Dismantle devices to access and replace defective parts, inspecting components for wear, and ensuring proper dimensional specifications
Adjust, repair, or replace mechanical and control parts to restore optimal device performance
Install and set up structural and functional components, lubricate and clean parts, and conduct testing to verify repairs
Operate metalworking tools such as drill presses and grinders to fabricate or repair parts as needed
Monitor equipment operation, troubleshoot malfunctions, and perform emergency repairs to minimize downtime
Maintain a clean, organized work environment and accurately document maintenance activities, parts used, and repairs performed
Assist with installation, setup, and calibration of systems and equipment
Perform routine inspections, adjustments, and calibrations to ensure machinery operates within specifications
Maintenance Mechanic Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, installation, or related roles.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and electronic systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and OEM manuals.
