Mechanical Assemblers

Our client, a leading organization in manufacturing, is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to join their team. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be part of the production department supporting assembly operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Location: Edgewood, MD

Pay Range: $20.00 per hour

Shift: 6:00 am to 3:30 PM

What's the Job?

• Affix subassemblies to main assemblies such as chassis, gears, housings, and transmissions according to work orders and blueprints.
• Review engineering specifications to ensure work is performed accurately and efficiently.
• Position control mechanisms, levers, and rods with appropriate fasteners like bolts and rivets.
• Set clearances between parts to meet prescribed tolerances and perform quality checks on products and components.
• Identify and implement corrective actions to maintain high-quality standards.

What's Needed?

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in assembly or manufacturing.
• Ability to interpret work orders, blueprints, and engineering specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
