Monday thru Friday 6am to 2:30pm
$30hr to $45hr depending on experience.

A company providing support to accessory overhaul shops throughout the world, specializing in repair services for detail parts contained inside accessory components such as pneumatic starters, cooling turbines, air cycle machines and various pneumatic valves and check valves for military and commercial aircraft is seeking a Manual Machinist to join their team in Van Nuys.

Responsibilities:
Machining various steel and aluminum aircraft parts on manual lathes, mills, ID/OD grinders, and other machining equipment.
Holding tight tolerances. (+/- .0005)
Low production, prototype environment, attention to details.
Reading shop routings / travelers.
Reading engineering drawings.

Qualifications:
5 years experience on manual machining equipment.
Proficient on manual lathes and manual mills.
Holding tight tolerances. (+/- .0005)
Skilled with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. (GD&T)
Effectively communicate in English, written and verbal skills.
Flexible and eager to learn.
Candidates with manual grinding equipment (ID/OD) grinders will be considered first.
