Volt is immediately hiring a Label Operator for a food manufacturer in Fullerton, Ca.
As a Machine Operator you will:
- Properly set up machinery prior to start of manufacturing process.
- Clean and sterilize vats and factory processing areas.
- Works with the maintenance personnel in performing item change over and is responsible for maintaining a clean work area free of debris and contamination. Changeovers are an integral part of the process.
- Must have completed Lock out Tag out training provided by Stir Foods.
- Operate equipment in a safe manner to ensure continuous flow of manufacturing process.
- Keep assigned area clean from debris and ensure that all GMP’S/SOP’s are being followed through out the shift.
- Mechanically inclined to perform change overs as needed, training provided by Stir Foods.
- Examines product through out the course of the shift to ensure product meets specified requirements.
- Accurately maintain any production records and log sheets.
- Works with maintenance to correct any problems with the equipment and that all malfunctions have been addressed immediately with line lead and shift.
- Ensure machinery is clean and in proper working condition at the end of the shift.
- Perform other job duties as required by Supervisor or line lead.
This is a full-time opportunity
Schedule: Monday-Friday
1st shift - 6:00am-2:30pm
2nd shift - 230pm-11pm
The Ideal candidate will have:
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma Required.
- 2 years of experience in production operations, preferably liquid fill.
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $20.25 per hour - depending on shift
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
