Responsibilities Assembles automotive quick connectors using manual, semi-automated, and fully automated processes by performing the following duties:

  • Assembles O-rings, clips, shipping plugs & caps into parts according to part procedure.
  • Understands the machine and its functions and operate according to the procedure, following all safety procedures.
  • Reads and understands job procedure.
  • Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety and Environmental regulations, as well as company policies.
  • Conducts leak testing as required by part procedure.
  • Conducts in-process parts inspection to ensure product quality and completeness.
  • As designated, trains manufacturing associates in procedures and processes.
  • Ensures daily production schedule is attained.
  • Knowledge of Leading2Lean.
  • Knowledge of SAP.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area, in compliance with 5S requirements.
  • Performs and understands importance of processes in place to ensure machine is running accurately (such as running duds and/or use of gauges).
  • Keeps machines running with minimal downtime.
  • Performs basic repair and setup.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) plus 6-12 months' related light manufacturing experience required.

This is a 1st shift position. Regular hours are 6:00am - 2:30pm (Monday to Friday).
