Job Overview:

Pay Range: $19.57/hr - $23.57/hr

  • This role is actively involved in material movements in a warehouse environment.

Requirement/Must Have:

  • High School Diploma / GED.
  • Forklift certification preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of material handling or prior warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Understands material movement/inventory levels and completes timely processing of assigned tasks.
  • Performs material movements both physically and systematically within a controlled environment.
  • Processes stock transfers, material requests, and put-away.
  • Loads and/or unloads trucks as required.
  • May operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment with appropriate training and/or certification.
  • May drive cut-away box truck to move material between buildings with appropriate training.
  • May assist and train associates with on-the-job training.
  • Understands and uses the ERP system for material management activity.
  • Utilizes root cause analysis to research material movement and resolve discrepancies.
  • Performs cycle counting.
  • Participates in continuous improvement initiatives which include warehouse material flow systems and procedures.
  • Seeks efficiency in system and process gaps and elevates awareness to management.
  • Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration.
  • Promotes a positive work environment.
  • Participates in on-the-job training for warehouse and manufacturing processes, corporate policies, safety procedures, GMP, ISO Standards as defined by supervisor.
  • Adheres to all environmental, health and safety SOPs, equipment, policies and procedures, including any department-specific requirements.
  • Serves on safety, quality, and other committees, if applicable.
  • Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations and other regulatory requirements.
  • Follows company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.

Skills:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
  • Ability to handle and lift up to 50 lbs as needed for specific job functions.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanor.
