Job Overview:
Pay Range: $19.57/hr - $23.57/hr
- This role is actively involved in material movements in a warehouse environment.
Requirement/Must Have:
- High School Diploma / GED.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of material handling or prior warehouse experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Understands material movement/inventory levels and completes timely processing of assigned tasks.
- Performs material movements both physically and systematically within a controlled environment.
- Processes stock transfers, material requests, and put-away.
- Loads and/or unloads trucks as required.
- May operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment with appropriate training and/or certification.
- May drive cut-away box truck to move material between buildings with appropriate training.
- May assist and train associates with on-the-job training.
- Understands and uses the ERP system for material management activity.
- Utilizes root cause analysis to research material movement and resolve discrepancies.
- Performs cycle counting.
- Participates in continuous improvement initiatives which include warehouse material flow systems and procedures.
- Seeks efficiency in system and process gaps and elevates awareness to management.
- Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration.
- Promotes a positive work environment.
- Participates in on-the-job training for warehouse and manufacturing processes, corporate policies, safety procedures, GMP, ISO Standards as defined by supervisor.
- Adheres to all environmental, health and safety SOPs, equipment, policies and procedures, including any department-specific requirements.
- Serves on safety, quality, and other committees, if applicable.
- Complies with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations and other regulatory requirements.
- Follows company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments.
Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization.
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
- Ability to handle and lift up to 50 lbs as needed for specific job functions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanor.
