Job Description

CNC Lathe Operator

Nikel Precision Group, LLC is a precision machine shop that regularly works with exotic aerospace and medical related alloys and materials using modern state of the art CNC machine tools. Our customers are in diverse industries including the Aerospace, Defense, Semiconductor, Medical, Pump and Seal as well as countless others. We are seeking experienced, full-time CNC Machine Operators for our 1st and 2nd shift operations with prior work experience and/or formal training on CNC Lathes.

Requirements

  • Setup applicable CNC machine tools including fixturing, tooling and programming.
  • 100% inspection and documentation of first piece measurements.
  • Maintain adjustment of machine to produce quality product throughout entire job run.
  • Maintain an efficient run rate.
  • Consistently seeking opportunities for process improvements.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
  • A positive and cooperative work attitude is essential.

Qualifications:

  • Prior vocational training at the high school and/or college-levels a definite plus.
  • 2 years work experience
