Apply Now Consolided Precision Products (CPP) in Rancho Cucamonga is currently looking for a Controls Technician on 2nd Shift (1:30pm 10:00pm) to join our team! They will be reporting to our Maintenance Supervisor our aerospace foundry in Rancho Cucamonga, CA.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

• Installion and Maintenance - Installing, calibring, and maintaining automed control systems, including PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), SCADA (Supervisory Control and Da Acquisition) systems, and other automion equipment.
• Troubleshooting and Repair - Identifying, troubleshooting, and repairing issues with control systems and reled equipment, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Preventive Maintenance - Implementing and performing routine maintenance procedures to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal system performance.
• Programming and Testing - Programming and testing control systems to ensure they meet specificions and opere correctly.
• Calibrion and Adjustment - Calibring and adjusting sensors, transmitters, and other components to ensure accure reading and proper system operion.
• Da Analysis - Analyzing da from control systems to identify trends, potential problems, and areas for improvement.
• Documention - Maintaining detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and system configurions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Educion - High school diploma. Certificions/Licenses: None
• Technical Expertise - Experience: At least three years hands-on electromechanical experience. PLC troubleshooting and programing skills. Variable Frequency Drive troubleshooting and integrion experience. Strong understanding of electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems, as well as programming and control systems.
• Problem-Solving - Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues with control systems and equipment.
• Analytical Skills - Ability to analyze da and interpret technical informion to identify problems and implement solutions.
• Communicion - Effective communicion skills, both written and verbal, to communice technical informion to various stakeholders.
• Computer Proficiency - Proficiency in using computer software and tools for programming, troubleshooting, and da analysis.
• Safety Awareness - Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulions reled to electrical and mechanical systems.
• Other Required Knowledge:

• In depth knowledge of foundry trades with 3+ years experience in electronic systems, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, pneumic systems. Knowledge in the use of electrical testing equipment. Knowledge of troubleshooting tree. PLC troubleshooting skill. Skilled in use of standard mechanical hand tools. Good interpersonal skills. Good follow-up skills. Ability to troubleshoot majority of hi-tech plant equipment with no supervision. Ability to read electrical prints and troubleshoot equipment from 24 DCvolt to 480 ACvolt. Ability to opere mobile maintenance equipment: forklift, scissor lift, man lift.
• Ability to read blueprints. Ability to read electrical and electronic schemics. Ability to troubleshoot and program Variable Frequency Drives (VFD). Ability to interact with a wide variety of people. Self-control. Persistence. Detail oriention. Curiosity about new products and processes. Good judgment.
