Mechanical Assembler - Cooling Unit Production Location: South Memphis, TN (38118) Relocating to Byhalia, MS later this year Aerotek is seeking Mechanical Assemblers to support a large industrial manufacturing operation. This position involves building cooling units inside a clean, climatecontrolled facility. Qualified candidates will be contacted immediately. Shift Details Weekend Nights: Friday-Sunday, 5:00 PM-5:30 AM Pay: $25.30/hr Attendance Incentive: Earn 4 extra straighttime hours each week when all three shifts are completed with no tardies, early departures, or absences Weekly Pay What You'll Be Doing Build cooling units using hand tools and power tools Follow diagrams, written instructions, and visual work aids Work with metal framing, copper tubing, piping, and other components Drill, route, and prep materials for assembly Complete repetitive assembly and labeling tasks with accuracy Insert and secure mechanical components to spec Inspect parts and finished assemblies for quality Use lifting devices and participate in team lifts Maintain a clean, organized work area Support production goals and follow all safety procedures Apply basic electrical understanding and read simple schematics when required What You Need Ability to read, write, and follow instructions Comfortable interpreting diagrams, graphs, and visual aids Skilled with hand tools and power tools Able to stand, lift, and perform physical work throughout the shift Relevant technical schooling or training accepted as experience Preferred: 1+ year of mechanical assembly or manufacturing experience Consistent, reliable work history Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Olive Branch, MS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.30 - $25.30/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
