Now Hiring: Mechanical Assembler - Cooling Unit Manufacturing Location: South Memphis, TN (38118) Future Location: Moving to Byhalia, MS towards the end of the year Aerotek is hiring Mechanical Assemblers for an industrial manufacturing facility in the South Memphis area. This is a handson role assembling large cooling units in a clean, temperaturecontrolled environment. If interested and qualified, please apply for immediate consideration. Available Shift Weekend Night Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 5:00 PM to 5:30 AM ($25.30/hour) Incentive: Paid an additional 4 straighttime hours when all three shifts (Fri-Sun) are worked in full with no late arrivals, early departures, or absences Paid Weekly! Job Description Assemble cooling units using hand and power tools following diagrams, visual aids, and written instructions Work with metal framing and tubing including copper, metal tubing, and piping Drill holes, route tubing, and prepare metal components Perform repetitive, standardized assembly and labeling tasks with accuracy Manually assemble inserted components and verify specifications Inspect parts and completed assemblies for quality Use manual lifting devices and participate in team lifts Read and understand visual aids, graphs, diagrams, and assembly sequences Follow directions from leads and adhere to production and safety procedures Perform visual inspections and basic mechanical checks Maintain a clean, organized work area Collaborate with team members to meet production goals Apply basic electrical knowledge and schematic reading when needed Experience Required: Ability to read, write, and follow instructions Able to read and interpret diagrams, graphs, and visual aids Comfortable using hand tools and power tools Able to perform physical work including lifting and standing Will accept relevant schooling or technical training as experience Preferred: 1+ year of mechanical assembly experience Previous assembly experience in manufacturing Reliable work history Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Memphis, TN.
