Sign Repair Technician

A sign manufacturer is seeking a Sign Repair Technician. We are looking for a team member who, above all, possesses a strong work ethic and a positive attitude. In addition, we are seeking candidates with the following skills and/or experience:

Skills/Requirements:

Ability to work both sitting and standing for at least 7 hours per day while performing low-intensity tasks. Some tasks require good hand-eye coordination and moderate attention to detail.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and move products up and downstairs while carrying up to 50 pounds multiple times per day, as needed.

Must be willing to take direction and perform tasks without direct supervision.
(All training is provided to fit our unique production methods)

Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.

Experience:

This is an entry-level position; however, at least 1 year of shop experience is preferred.

Experience with small power tools is a plus (no saws required).

Experience with print processing or vinyl work is a plus.

Experience in sign making, print production, fabrication, or manufacturing is a plus.

Familiarity with sign equipmentsuch as large-format printers (UV, solvent, latex), CNC routers, vinyl plotters, and laminatorsis a plus.

Experience with computers and sign design programs, including Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop), is a plus.

Experience with assembly work, ranging from simple to detailed tasks.
We provide training on all shop procedures, tasks, workflow, and tool usage.
