Job Summary:
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a motivated Machinist Apprentice for a local manufacturing company. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in a skilled trade. No machining experience is requiredour client is willing to train the right candidate.

The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, eager to learn, dependable, and interested in developing hands-on skills in a machine shop environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist machinists with daily machine shop operations
Learn machining processes, equipment operation, and shop procedures
Support the production and completion of machined parts according to specifications
Move materials, parts, and supplies throughout the facility as needed
Maintain organization, cleanliness, and safety within the machine shop
Follow instructions from supervisors and experienced machinists
Participate in hands-on training and skill development
Help maintain quality standards and inspect work as directed
Work collaboratively with team members to support production goals
Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications:
Strong interest in learning machining and manufacturing skills
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
Strong attention to detail
Ability to follow instructions and learn new processes
Good attendance and reliability
Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Helpful but Not Required:
Manufacturing experience
Shop, automotive, welding, fabrication, farm, or construction experience
Experience using hand and power tools
