Machinist | Manual
This role is responsible for setting up and operating a variety of machining equipment to fabricate, repair, and recondition parts to precise specifications. You'll work from blues and measurements while supporting equipment maintenance and ensuring all work ispleted safely, accurately, and efficiently.
LOCATION: Clackamas, OR
SALARY: $23-$27/hr. DOE
SCHEDULE: Full-time, Monday-Friday | 6:00am-2:30pm

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Set up and operate lathes, knee mills, band saws, and hand tools toplete assigned jobs
Read and interpret blues, drawings, and precision measuring instruments (to .0001)
Assist in maintenance and repair ofpany equipment and support plant upkeep as directed
Fabricate, repair, and recondition customer products according to design specifications
Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE, reliable attendance, and forklift operation when certified
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently with minimal supervision
Proficient in using precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, gauges, indicators, and scales (to .0001)
Skilled in setting up and operating lathes, mills, grinders, band saws, and other machining equipment; able to select appropriate tooling
Capable of adjusting machines during operation to maintain tight tolerances and produce precision parts
Strong ability to read and interpret blues and drawings, including resolving missing dimensions or specifications through problem-solving
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This role requires the ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical movements such as bending, stooping, and reaching, while frequently lifting up to 40 lbs. and handling heavier materials with assisted equipment (such as overhead cranes).
Candidates must befortable working in noisy, dirty environments and demonstrate strong hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and amitment to safely operating machinery and following all safety protocols.
