About the Role:
Express Employment Professionals is recruiting a Process Technician for an innovative manufacturing company in Albany. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in structured, technical environments and have a strong attention to detail.
The Process Technician plays a critical role in guiding manufacturing processes, documenting each step, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring procedures are followed precisely. Success in this role requires strong documentation skills, process discipline, and the ability to communicate clearly with production personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and technical work instructions
Guide manufacturing personnel through process steps and procedures
Maintain accurate run logs, production records, and process documentation
Complete data entry and documentation in real time whenever possible
Monitor process quality and identify deviations or non-conforming activities
Assist with troubleshooting process and equipment issues
Perform equipment calibration and preventive maintenance activities
Participate in process audits and continuous improvement initiatives
Monitor consumable inventory and communicate supply needs
Maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and procedural compliance

Qualifications:
Associate degree in a technical field preferred
3+ years of manufacturing, laboratory, technical, quality, or process-related experience preferred
Strong data entry, documentation, and recordkeeping skills
Ability to read, understand, and follow detailed technical procedures
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
Experience working with manufacturing processes and equipment is preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to work alternate shifts and overtime as needed

Physical Requirements:
Frequent standing, walking, sitting, and computer use
Repetitive hand movements and fine motor tasks
Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds
Ability to work in a manufacturing environment around equipment, chemicals, and moderate noise levels
