Field Service Technician

Location:** Manassas, VA **Duration:** 12-Month Contract **Start Date:** June 2026 **Work Environment:** Semiconductor Fabrication Facility (Fab) **Openings:** 2 Position Overview: We are seeking two Field Service Technicians to support on-site operations within a semiconductor fabrication facility in Manassas, VA. This role will work closely with engineers to assist with equipment installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting for highly specialized semiconductor manufacturing tools. This is a hands-on technical role requiring strong problem-solving skills, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced cleanroom environment. Key Responsibilities: * Support engineers with on-site tool installation, including setup and heavy equipment movement * Assist with preventative and corrective maintenance of semiconductor manufacturing equipment * Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics on tool-related issues to minimize downtime * Follow detailed procedures and safety protocols within a cleanroom fab environment * Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure proper tool performance and reliability * Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and issues identified Required: * Prior technical experience in a field service, maintenance, or manufacturing environment * Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills * Ability to work on-site in a semiconductor fab environment, including cleanroom conditions * Ability to lift/move equipment and perform physically demanding tasks as needed Preferred: * Experience in the semiconductor industry * Active or prior Intel fab badge * OSHA certification * **Hours:** Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM * **Overtime:** May be required; overtime rate to be determined * Candidates must be comfortable working in a highly controlled cleanroom environment * PPE and safety protocols must be followed at all times * Opportunity to gain hands-on experience with advanced semiconductor equipment Skills Electrical, Mechanical, Troubleshooting, install, Wiring Top Skills Details Electrical,Mechanical,Troubleshooting,install,Wiring Additional Skills & Qualifications Preferred: * Experience in the semiconductor industry * Active or prior Intel fab badge * OSHA certification Experience Level Expert Level Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Manassas, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
