Nelson Engineering is seeking a detail-oriented Deburr Technician to support our finishing operations. This role is responsible for removing sharp edges, burrs, and imperfections from machined and fabricated parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
We are an established aerospace manufacturer with over 60 years of success. We offer a great work/life balance with a 4 day/10 hr. work week. Opportunity for over-time is available as needed to support mfg. needs.
2 years of aerospace deburring experience is required, as well as strong attention to detail.
Will consider hiring a trainee provided they have a good attittude & work ethic.
Pay rates will be commensurate with experience.
Drug test is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform deburring, polishing, and finishing of metal components using hand tools, power tools, and related equipment such as bead blasters.
- Inspect parts for surface defects and ensure compliance with specifications.
- Work closely with machining and quality teams to maintain production flow and standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety and quality protocols.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in deburring or metal finishing preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
