Job title: CNC Machinist
We are a high precision aerospace job shop in the Anaheim/Orange County area seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our growing team. If you have solid setup and operating experience on CNC mills and / or lathes in aerospace manufacturing (AS9100 environment preferred), we want to hear from you!
Position Overview
Full-time position
Setup and operate CNC machines (primarily Haas, Siemens, or similar controls)
Produce high-precision parts for aerospace/defense applications (tolerances to 0.0005" typical)
Work with exotic materials including titanium, Inconel, stainless, and aluminum alloys
Read/interpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings
Perform own first-article inspections and in-process checks using micrometers, bore gages, CMM basics, etc.
Maintain tight quality standards and documentation for ITAR/AS9100 compliance
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 5+ years hands-on experience as a CNC lathe or mill machinist in aerospace job shops or suppliers (not just general machining or automotive), 5 axis experience a plus.
Proven ability to independently set up and edit programs (G-code knowledge required; Mastercam or similar a plus)
Strong understanding of tooling, workholding, offsets, and troubleshooting
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, low-volume/high-mix environment
Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to safety/quality
Legal right to work in the U.S.
