CNC Operator- 2nd Shift

Second shift: Monday - Thursday 4:30PM - 3:00AM

Summary:
CNC operator loads parts in the machine, cycles machine and detects malfunctions in machine operations, such as worn or damaged cutting tools. The position runs production lots, communicates with co-workers regarding productions runs, and maintains a safe, organized and clean work environment.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (But not limited to)
- Load and unload parts into machines.
- Use basic measuring equipment to inspect ports.
- Maintain production rates.
- Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to supervisor.
- Performs inspection of machined products and maintains inspection logs.
- Must follow all safety rules and policies as set forth by OSHA guidelines and Pace Industries
policies and procedures as outlined in the employee manual.
- Follow detailed work instructions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ability to read drawings or blueprints.
- Inspect products for surface and dimension defects in order to ensure conformance to
specifications, using precision measuring instruments.
- Change tools.
- Ability to make tool offsets.
