CNC Machinist

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Set up and operate Haas CNC lathes to produce precision aerospace and defense components
Read and interpret complex blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T specifications
Perform meticulous in-process inspections using micrometers, calipers, bore gages, and surface finish testers
Make real-time program edits and fine-tune setups for high-stakes production
Ensure compliance with AS9100 and other aerospace standards
Collaborate with quality assurance and engineering to validate critical dimensions
Maintain comprehensive logs, traceability, and documentation for each job
Promote a culture of safety, security, and continuous improvement

Qualifications:
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (due to ITAR regulations)
Must successfully complete a pre-employment background check
Minimum 5 years of experience machining precision parts for aerospace or defense applications
Deep proficiency with Haas CNC controls and turning centers
Knowledge of ITAR, AS9100, and defense-grade quality systems
Ability to hold tolerances within .0002" or finer
Familiarity with exotic alloys like titanium, Inconel, and aerospace-grade stainless steel
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in machining preferred
