Operations leadership at this site focuses on driving machining efficiency, maintaining tight tolerances, improving cycle times, and ensuring consistent quality and on-time delivery.The organization supports customers in industries such as aggregates, mining, cement, coal and power generation, pulp and paper, steel, port operations, bulk material handling, and other heavy industrial markets where durability and uptime are critical.The CNC Programmer will be responsible for programming, optimizing, and supporting CNC machining operations on DMG Mori equipment to produce high-quality precision components safely, efficiently, and consistently.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram, set up, and optimize CNC machining operations on DMG Mori machines, including multi-axis mills and mill-turn equipment, to meet production and quality requirements.Develop and revise CNC programs using G-code and CAM software to improve cycle times, tooling life, and part quality for conveyor components and machined assemblies.Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and operations leadership to support new product introductions, fixture design, and continuous machining improvements.Troubleshoot machining issues related to tooling, fixturing, work holding, machine performance, and part tolerances on the shop floor.Support documentation, process standardization, and best practices for repeatable, safe, and efficient CNC operations.Required and Preferred QualificationsProven experience as a CNC Programmer or CNC Machinist with hands-on responsibility for programming and optimizing CNC equipment, preferably DMG Mori machines.Strong understanding of multi-axis machining, machining centers, mill-turn operations, tooling strategies, feeds and speeds, and precision measurement.Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD and T requirements, and manufacturing specifications.Experience working in a fabrication or heavy manufacturing environment producing durable industrial components.Nice to have: Experience with CAM software, fixture and work holding design, lean manufacturing principles, or conveyor component manufacturing.BenefitsHealth, Dental, Vision401KPTOOver Time Pay
