Manufacturing Supervisor (1st Shift)

You will be the Manufacturing Supervisor (1st Shift) for the Manufacturing Operations Team. Our team is responsible for overseeing firstshift production, ensuring safety, quality, and ontime delivery.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Manufacturing Supervisor (1st Shift) you will be responsible for leading a 1stshift work group, ensuring safety, quality, and ontime delivery. This person will work MonThur 5:42AM to 4:12PM.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Daily supervision of a team and assignment of work tasks.
• Ensuring all teammates are trained, prepared, and equipped for their duties.
• Tracking and documenting attendance and performance metrics.
• Building effective relationships and fostering a safe, inclusive workplace.
• Collaborating with ESH to enforce safety and environmental policies.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.

- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience/combined education.

- Must obtain an interim clearance prior to starting and have the ability to obtain a secret clearance.

- Working Knowledge of MS Office Software and Systems.

- Proven ability to manage cost, quality, and schedule metrics.

**Candidate must be able to pass a Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) background check to obtain approval to be an employee possessor (of explosives or other ATF-regulated items) as defined by ATF regulations. Failure to obtain and retain employee possessor status may result in revocation of an offer and loss of employment.- Manufacturing and/or defense industry experience

- Ability to provide Leadership and obtain Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt Certification

- Supervisory experience

- Ability to maintain good employee relations within a team.
