How you will make an impact:
The Logistics Coordinator, Raw Materials & Transportation Manufacturing, has a critical role supporting safe, compliant, and efficient operations across raw materials, transportation, environmental compliance, quality systems, and Continuous Improvement initiatives. This position provides essential administrative, operational, and reporting support to the Raw Materials & Transportation Manager, supervisors, and site leadership. The role is responsible for managing safety and environmental documentation, regulatory compliance records, production and cost reporting, transportation logistics, and personnel data while supporting structured Continuous Improvement (CBS) activities including Kaizen events, VOICE/OFI management, and engagement tracking. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, independent problem-solving, and the ability to prioritize a high volume of recurring tasks with fixed regulatory and reporting deadlines.
- Provide essential support to the department manager and supervisors.
- Produce reports and maintain documentation related to: Production, Equipment, Training, Licensing, Certifications, and Accounting.
- Exercise good judgment in solving problems and prioritizing workload.
- Act as an information resource to mill personnel regarding day-to-day operations of two raw material mills and Transportation warehouse.
- Provide backup support to the Manufacturing Logistics Coordinator in paper making, including managing customer shipments and data tracking.
Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in administration of office and management/supervisor activities, preferred
- Basic knowledge of general office equipment, office procedures and services.
- Proficient and proven competency with personal computers and associated software - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
- Ability to handle confidential information with the utmost degree of integrity and discretion.
- Possess competent oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of D.O.T. required records, and state and federal highway tax requirements desired.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with an ability to demonstrate and maintain suitability for employment in a position
The salary range for this role is $25.00 - 27.88 hourly. Pay is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, and location.
