This role combines CNC machine operation with post-machining fabrication and finishing, supporting production, quality, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities: Operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or similar equipment) to produce parts according to technical drawings and specifications Load raw materials, monitor machine performance, and make basic adjustments as needed Perform post-machining fabrication and finishing using hand routers, scrapers, and various hand/power tools Inspect finished parts using measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) Read and interpret blueprints, dimensional drawings, and job requirements Perform routine machine maintenance, cleaning, and tool changes Follow SOPs, safety protocols, and quality standards Complete production documentation and maintain compliance records Identify and report equipment issues or process improvements Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve efficiency Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred 0-2+ years of CNC or manufacturing experience (or strong mechanical aptitude) Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Experience with hand and power tools Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Fabrication, carpentry, or welding experience is a plus Our mission is to inspire advances in bioprocessing as a trusted partner in the production of biologic drugs that improve human health worldwide. The estimated hourly rate/salary range for this role, based in the United States of America is $20.00-$23.00 per hour. Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to an individual's qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Additionally, employees are eligible to participate in one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
