POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for performing light secondary work such as cleaning & washing parts, deburring, buffing, TFE and simple machining. Responsible for ensuring these processes are executed efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work under the general direction of the department supervisor with a minimum of supervision.
Perform light secondary deburring, washing, cleaning, grinding and straightening of parts.
Perform drilling, cutting, tapping, buffing, press work and simple machining.
Run machinery following all processes and procedures, including soap/detergent usage, coating mixtures, oven temperatures, cure times, waste cleanup and more.
Transfer material and parts from one location to another, including loading parts into machinery properly.
Work from blues and other technical documents.
Check finished items for quality.
Maintain a neat and orderly work area.
Follow all safety procedures and quality standards.
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment. Includes removal of any foreign matter.

Follow standard practices and procedures as outlined bypany policy.
Perform all other duties as directed or required.
SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
One to three years manufacturing experience and/or training; or equivalentbination of education and experience.
Must have reasonable dexterity in hands to manipulate small parts.
Ability to read blues and measuring equipment such as: micrometers and calipers preferred
ADDITIONAL CHARACTERISTICS:
This position works as both an individual contributor and in a team environment
This position required the ability to lift 25-55 lbs. occasionally, 10-25 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs. constantly.
This position may require standing and/or sitting for long periods of time, up to 8-10 hours per day
This position requires good manually dexterity and visual acuity
This position may be exposed to various industrial cleaning chemicals and oils
This is a 2nd shift position (M-F 2:30p-10:30p) but training would be on 1st shift (M-F 6:30a-2:30p) for 1-2 months
Comments
Mon-Fri 2:30pm-10:30pm with training on 1st shift for 1-2 months
Pay Details: $19.00 to $20.99 per hour
