Position Summary

Tollman Spring Company is seeking an experienced Spring Maker / Coiler SetUp Technician to support our precision spring manufacturing operations. This role focuses on setting up and running CNC and mechanical coiling machines to produce highquality compression springs.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC/mechanical coilers (e.g., Torin, MEC and S&H).
• Adjust tooling, guides, pitch tools, arbors, and feed systems to meet specifications.
• Produce firstpiece samples and make finetuning adjustments.
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, load testers, and comparators.
• Troubleshoot coil inconsistencies, wire feed issues, and tooling wear.
• Maintain accurate production and quality documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of experience setting up and operating spring coiling machines.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of wireforming principles.
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
• Reliable, detailoriented, and comfortable in a fastpaced manufacturing environment.
