We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to add to our existing team. The Project Manager is responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, control and completion of projects, while remaining aligned with strategy, commitments and goals of Robinson. The Project Manager is responsible for creating and meeting deadlines; budgets and resources, in addition to communicating all deliverables of projects both to the internal team and to the customer. The Project Manager position is highly visible within the organization and extremely interactive with our customer base. What You will Do
  • Create and define project plans, scope, timelines, allocate resources and monitor project progress
  • Review sales orders and drawings to ensure smooth project execution
  • Work within established budget, communicate exceptions promptly
  • Track and communicate deliverables
  • Schedule and lead initial and follow-up meetings; set expectations for the team
  • Monitor, follow up and report on project progress
  • Identify and resolve issues, communicating outcomes
  • Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
  • Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques (ERP System, Microsoft Office Suite, custom in-house programs)
  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps (Gannt Charts) to document project progress
  • Report and escalate issues to management as necessary
  • Manage and maintain relationships with customers through the life of the equipment
  • Work with sub vendors on aux equipment issues
  • Remain current with industry technology, processes and practices.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements
  • 3+ years of Project Management experience in manufacturing or operations preferred
  • Bachelors degree in related field, or equivalent Project Management experience
  • Demonstrated track record of operational excellence
  • Ability to work flexible hours as required to support successful project execution from order to post shipment.
  • Ability to travel as needed up to 10%
