Plant Manager Jobs in Johnsonville, SC
A Plant Manager in the manufacturing industry is responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations of a manufacturing plant. This includes planning, organizing, directing and running optimum day-to-day operations to exceed customers' expectations, increasing production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards. They also have to ensure all employees follow industry standard health and safety guidelines. Prior to becoming a Plant Manager, a person may have roles such as Production Supervisor, Quality Control Manager, or Operations Manager, which provide valuable manufacturing experience and opportunities for leadership.
