Maintenance Technician Jobs in Sardinia, NY
A Maintenance Technician in the manufacturing industry is responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient operation of machinery and equipment. They perform routine checks, diagnose faults, undertake repairs, and carry out preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and disruptions to production processes. They may also assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensure safety and compliance standards are met, and provide technical assistance to other staff. They often work in collaboration with other technicians, engineers, and production personnel.

Prior roles a person might have before progressing to a Maintenance Technician include Maintenance Assistant, Production Operator, or an Apprentice in a relevant trade such as Electrician or Mechanic.
