A General Manager in the manufacturing industry oversees the overall functionality of the manufacturing unit. They are responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing all operational activities within the manufacturing unit to ensure that production meets the company's objectives. Their duties include managing staff, overseeing product development, monitoring production quality, and liaising with other departments to implement the company's policies and goals.
