Buyer Jobs in Nevada

A Buyer in the manufacturing industry is primarily responsible for the procurement of materials, goods, and services necessary for the manufacturing process. They research, evaluate and buy products for companies to either resell to customers or use in their everyday operations. Key duties include sourcing new suppliers, negotiating contracts, tracking orders, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. They work closely with other departments such as production and quality assurance to understand their needs and ensure the supply chain is running smoothly and cost-effectively.

They should be detail-oriented and have solid organizational skills to manage multiple orders and suppliers. A bachelor's degree in business, economics, or a relevant field is typically required.
