Stamping Press Operator Job Description Join our team as a Stamping Press Operator in Norwood, OH. This is a direct placement position with opportunities across different shifts. Candidates should be prepared for an initial training period on the 1st Shift. Responsibilities Set up the stamping press machine for operation. Operate machines ranging from 35 to 400 tons. Follow blueprints meticulously to ensure accuracy. Stage finished products for the next phase of production. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Essential Skills Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, and gauges. A minimum of 2 years of experience with stamping presses (excluding press brakes and spot welders). Basic math skills for operational accuracy. Physical ability to lift 35 lbs regularly. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with blueprint reading and machine operation. Why Work Here? The 1st Shift operates from 6 am to 2:30 pm, the 2nd Shift from 3 pm to 1:30 am, and the 3rd Shift from 7 pm to 5:30 am. Training will occur on the 1st Shift for 6-8 weeks. The work environment prioritizes safety and cleanliness, with a dress code that includes appropriate safety gear. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Cincinnati, Ohio. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $53760.00/yr.
