Press Brake Operator Job Description A manufacturer in Indianapolis is seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join their team for the 1st shift. The role involves working with aluminum or stainless carbon steel sheets and ensuring quality specifications are met. Responsibilities Manually load aluminum or stainless carbon steel sheets. Use basic math, calipers, and micrometers to ensure quality specifications are met. Change dull punches and other tooling as needed. Form, punch, or cut components for various finished products and prepare them for packaging. Essential Skills Proficiency in operating press brakes. Competency in using calipers and micrometers. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Experience in sheet metal fabrication. Skill in CNC press brake and brake press machine operations. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in machine setup. Knowledge of laser and press machine operations. Welding skills. Why Work Here?
