Job Title: Manufacturing Production Supervisor
Job Description
We are seeking a hands-on and experienced 2nd Shift Manufacturing Production Supervisor to lead and manage our fabrication team during second shift operations. This role is responsible for overseeing the production of sheet metal components using press brakes, laser CNC machines, and turret punches. The ideal candidate will ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are met while fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate daily activities of fabrication personnel on second shift.
Ensure efficient operation of press brakes, laser CNC machines, and turret punches.
Monitor production schedules and adjust workflow to meet deadlines and customer requirements.
Enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to promote skill development and performance.
Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, escalating as needed.
Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve production challenges.
Maintain accurate production records and report shift performance.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
Essential Skills
2+ years of supervisory experience in a metal fabrication environment.
Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Proficient in using ERP systems and basic computer applications.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and make decisions under pressure.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Familiarity with production environments.
Experience as a supervisor managing a team of 6 members.
Ability to assist with production as needed.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Work Environment
The work environment includes a clean shop with air conditioning and brand new machines throughout. The role requires the ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shop for extended periods, occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs. The work setting exposes employees to noise, dust, and varying temperatures typical of a manufacturing environment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tucson, Arizona.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
