Job Title: CNC Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator responsible for operating various CNC machines, including those that bend, cut, drill, saw, and punch. This role involves taking precise measurements and counting product quantities. The ability to read and interpret blueprints is highly advantageous. Candidates should be mechanically inclined with experience in CNC machines and structural steel.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple CNC machines for various tasks such as bending, cutting, drilling, sawing, and punching.

• Take accurate measurements and track product quantities.

• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate machine operation.

• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in CNC machine operation and fabrication.

• Ability to read blueprints and use a tape measure accurately.

• Strong understanding of math and fractions.

• Computer skills for project tracking.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with structural steel manufacturing.

• Mechanically inclined and detail-oriented.

Work Environment

Work in a fabrication shop environment from Monday through Friday, 2 PM to 11:30 PM. Collaborate with a team across three different shops, each with its own manager, focusing on steel beams that support building structures.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of BERNALILLO, New Mexico.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
