JENNMAR is looking to fill the position of Production/Shift Supervisor for at its plant located in Clearfield, UT. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma/GED preferred
- Minimum Two-to-Five (2-5) Years Metal Manufacturing Experience Required or Equivalent or Combination of Education and Experience
- Forging/Stamping Experience Preferred
- Welding Experience, Preferred
- Robotics Experience, Preferred
- ISO 9001 Experience, A Plus
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Capable knowledge of metal manufacturing processes, procedures, and machinery
- Capable ability to implement Company's standard operating, quality assurance, and safety procedures during all phases of production operations with knowledge of the ISO 9001 system
- Standard verbal/written communication skills to interact with line workers, other supervisors, and managerial/administrative personnel
- Standard mathematical ability to apply production processes to customer specifications
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced production environment
- Ability to solve practical problems and control a variety of changing situations
- "Team Member" mentality with complementing ability to self-motivate, organize, lead, and work well with others
- Ability to solve practical problems and control a variety of changing situations in an unbiased manner
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)

- Multiple limb coordination with light/medium (5-30 lbs.) lifting capability during normal phase duties
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate, schedule, and supervise production line activities in accordance with customer specifications, plant safety policies, and standard operating procedures to ensure adherence to ASTM-F432 (USA) Standards while meeting shift production goals.
- Coordinate, schedule, and supervise work station assignments/rotations, overtime assignments, shift rotations, employee breaks, employee vacations, and substitution for absent employees.
- Evaluate product quality and make adjustments as necessary during shift to ensure adherence to required specifications and standards.
- Train and coach production line employees in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies; conduct shift meetings when necessary.
- Coordinate and communicate production startups, shutdowns, and changeovers with other production supervisors and/or management personnel
- Conduct and complete employee performance reviews; recommend personnel actions such as hiring, promotions, or discipline; and prepare production and/or other shift reports as required.
- Requisition materials and supplies; monitor inventory, plan material ordering.
- Ensure a clean, safe work area(s) throughout the shift and assist in production as required.
- Attend corporate training sessions to acquire innovative procedures to maintain efficiency in production supervision.
