Project Coordinator (Production Control):
Summary
The Project Coordinator is responsible for creating and managing production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products, optimizing resource allocation, and maintaining efficient workflows within a manufacturing environment. They coordinate production activities and collaborate with various teams to meet production targets.
Responsibilities
* Tracking production against the schedule, identifying deviations, and taking corrective actions.
* Collaborating with production, procurement, inventory management, and other relevant teams to ensure seamless workflow.
* Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams to achieve production milestones.
* Track production progress, measure performance, and report on key deliverables.
* Serve as the primary point of contact between customers, operations personnel, and sales. Outside vendors when required.
* Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
* Optimize resources, and schedules to improve efficiency and project success.
* Prepare detailed reports, and documentation as needed.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Qualifications/Experience
* U.S. Citizenship required.
* Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills preferred.
* Experience with ERP, MRP, and other relevant software.
* Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Strong organizational and time management skills.
* Associate or Bachelor"s degree in Business, Project management or equivalent working experience.
* Minimum of 1 year of professional work experience. Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
* Knowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chain logistics, and regulatory compliance.
