Maintenance Worker
Location: Vidor TX
Pay: 18+ Depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Remove and clean old rubber lining from interior surfaces of rail cars using handheld tools.
  
• Safely operate basic tools including scrapers, wrenches, grinders, etc., and read tape measures accurately.
  
• Lift and carry objects and materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all company safety protocols.
  
• Follow supervisor instructions and work efficiently as a team member.
  
• Assist with cleanup and other general labor tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the workday.
  
• Experience using basic hand tools and tape measures.
  
• Must be able to work 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays required.
  
• Basic ISTC card or ability to obtain before the start date (Industrial Safety Training Council).
  
• Good work ethic, punctuality, and willingness to learn.
  
• Ability to work in a physically demanding, industrial environment.

Preferred:

• Prior manual labor or industrial cleaning experience.
  
• Familiarity with rubber lining or rail car work is not required, but is a plus.
