CNC Machine Operator**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to set up and operate CNC turning and milling machines, primarily working with Mori Siekis and Doosans. The role involves using precision measuring tools to ensure parts meet standards and customer requirements, as well as interpreting blueprints and G & M codes.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up and operate CNC turning and milling machines, including mills and lathes.
+ Utilize precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and pin gauges to check parts.
+ Interpret and use blueprints daily.
+ Comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations, and instructions.
+ Visually inspect parts to ensure they meet standards and customer requirements.
+ Inspect tooling for wear and damage.
+ Safely operate equipment and record production daily.
+ Operate one or more CNC machines while maintaining all quality and safety requirements.
+ Load and unload machines safely, record production daily, and identify non-conforming products.
+ Assist the team leader and Set-Up Tech with basic setup and teardown.
+ Maintain near-zero scrap throughout the run cycle.
+ Make machine offset adjustments as needed to maintain control.
**Essential Skills**
+ Proficiency in CNC machine operation, including mills and lathes.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
+ Experience with G & M code.
+ Understanding of GD&T and tolerances.
+ Familiarity with Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, and Mastercam systems.
+ Strong troubleshooting and machine operation skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 2+ years of CNC operating experience.
+ High school diploma or equivalent.
+ Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 30 pounds.
+ Capability to stand, walk, and reach for 8 hours or more.
+ Effective communication skills in English.
+ Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and self-motivation.
+ Ability to keep work areas neat, clean, and organized.
