Reaction Operator**
**Job Description**
Join our dynamic team as a Reaction Operator on the 2nd shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, with opportunities for overtime. This role involves using computer systems and handling related documentation, filling liquids and powders into tanks, and accurately measuring raw materials.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate computer systems and handle related documentation.
+ Lift up to 50 lbs. safely and effectively.
+ Fill liquids and powders into tanks and use scales for accurate measurements.
+ Select appropriate tanks based on manufacturing requirements and batch size.
+ Pick required raw materials from the warehouse and scan them using a barcode scanner to ensure lot number and quantity accuracy.
+ Stage and add raw materials to tanks following manufacturing instructions, possibly using a forklift.
+ Fill and pack orders according to sales orders, ensuring accurate weight and labeling.
+ Follow GMP and safety guidelines and procedures.
+ Be open to cross-training and assisting in different departments as needed.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience with GMP, batching, production, mixing, and compounding.
+ Proficiency in receiving products using a forklift (both stand-up and sit-down).
+ Machine operation experience, especially with Spray Dry machinery.
+ Ability to retrieve and return raw materials to and from the warehouse.
+ Conduct cycle counting on raw materials.
+ Experience in a warehouse or logistics setting, with a preference for experience in operating material handling equipment.
+ Ability to lift 50 lbs.
+ Prior experience in compounding, blending, or batching in a food or GMP environment.
+ Attention to detail when reviewing batch records.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Familiarity with ERP systems and handheld barcode scanners.
+ Forklift certification and training in safety, respirator protection, and lock-out procedures.
