Job Description
Pay: $19-23/hr, based on experience
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm
Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in manufacturing, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to quality. Team members will contribute to the efficient production of components and assemblies according to company specifications and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
Machine Operators:
- Operate and monitor machinery, including lathes and plasma cutting equipment, to fabricate metal components.
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand specifications and tolerances.
- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot issues.
- Set up tooling and fixtures as needed.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products.
CNC Machinists:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts.
- Load programs, make necessary machine adjustments, and inspect parts throughout production.
- Monitor cutting tools and replace them as needed to maintain accuracy.
- Interpret technical drawings and follow detailed machining instructions.
- Ensure finished products meet tight tolerances and quality expectations.
Assemblers:
- Assemble mechanical or electronic components following work instructions or blueprints.
- Use hand and power tools to fasten parts, install hardware, and complete product builds.
- Inspect parts and completed assemblies for accuracy and function.
- Package finished goods and label according to shipping or inventory procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets.
General Laborers:
- Assist in various production tasks, including material handling, staging, and cleanup.
- Load and unload materials and parts to/from machines or workstations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Support machine operators and assemblers by supplying materials or moving products.
- Follow all safety policies and standard operating procedures.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or machine operation preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints and work instructions (especially for operators and machinists).
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- CNC or machining experience is a strong plus for machinist applicants.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
- Dependability, teamwork, and willingness to learn new skills.
