As a Machine Operator & Fabrication Trainee, you'll play a crucial role in our production process, operating various machines to create high-quality parts while also developing essential fabrication skills. Your precision and attention to detail will be key to ensuring efficient and accurate output.

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

  • Set Up and Operate Machinery: Configure, operate, and monitor various manufacturing machines (e.g., CNC machines, lathes, mills, grinders, presses) according to specifications and production schedules.

  • Quality Control: Conduct in-process inspections using precision measuring tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure parts meet design specifications and quality standards. Identify and report any defects or deviations.

  • Read and Interpret Blueprints: Accurately read and understand technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine material requirements, machine settings, and finished product specifications.

  • Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning and lubrication. Identify and troubleshoot basic machine malfunctions, reporting complex issues to supervisors or maintenance staff.

  • Material Handling: Load and unload raw materials and finished parts safely and efficiently, ensuring proper material flow.

  • Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements to maintain a safe working environment.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate production records, including daily output, downtime, and material usage.
