Machine Operator Job Description The Machine Operator will be responsible for operating unique fabrication equipment required for bending and cutting metal edges of large window/glass units. The role involves operating CNC equipment specific to the industry, changing programs for each run, manipulating CNC control panels, and utilizing computer-based programs and measuring equipment throughout the shift. Responsibilities Operate saws, brake press, and other specialized equipment for metal bending. Meet daily and overall production goals for respective departments. Utilize hoists and team lifts to move larger pieces of sheet metal or glass material. Identify and interpret digital 3D drawings and reprogram for various runs. Essential Skills 1-2 years of experience with CNC equipment and metal fabrication. Proficiency in CNC operator and quality control/measurements. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read a tape measure proficiently. Extensive measuring experience and attention to detail during machine operation and post-production. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to adapt and perform tasks wherever needed, including material handling and cleaning. Can-do attitude and positive approach to work. Why Work Here?
