3rd shift - Supervisor ( Production )

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Team Leader to supervise production employees in backhoe operations. You will be responsible for ensuring safety, quality, on-time delivery, and efficiency. This role involves managing staffing, employee engagement, training, and daily production activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and guide production staff to meet safety, quality, and delivery goals.

• Ensure employees are trained and have the necessary tools and instructions.

• Monitor daily performance and handle staffing adjustments, including overtime.

• Enforce company policies and handle employee issues.

• Drive continuous improvement and maintain a safe, clean work environment.

• Manage department budget and equipment maintenance.

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years in a unionized manufacturing environment.

• 1+ years of experience with manufacturing and quality management tools.

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

• Ability to work overtime when needed.

• Comfortable making decisions in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience leading in a union environment.

• Knowledge of production control systems (SAP, Power BI, etc.).

• Familiarity with lean manufacturing methods.

• Experience working with cross-functional teams (engineering, HR, supply chain).
