Machine Operator**
**Pay:** $20-$22hr
**Shift:** (Monday -Friday) 6:30am to 3pm.
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated General Production Worker who will be responsible for operating the Sheer/Saw Machine and Brake Press. The role requires proficiency in reading a tape measure and the ability to learn forklift operations or have prior forklift experience.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate a forklift to transport stainless steel flats to the Sheer/Saw Table/Machine.
+ Read blueprints, drawings, or renderings to determine the size for cutting steel flats.
+ Cut steel flats according to specified dimensions, such as converting a 10 ft flat into 2 ft pieces with a 2-inch 90-degree bend.
+ Transport cut flats to the brake press machine and execute the required bends, typically a 90-degree angle.
+ Stack finished metal on a pallet and repeat the process throughout the day.
+ Manage work orders, measure materials, cut to length, bend, and stack.
**Essential Skills**
+ Prior experience operating brake press or sheer/saw machines.
+ Proficiency in reading and interpreting tape measures.
+ Blueprint and rendering reading capabilities.
+ Basic understanding of forklift operations.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with stand-up and reach forklifts.
+ Material handling and general production knowledge.
+ Steel manufacturing experience.
